We are Charlie Mike Guitars, a passion project born out of Doug Cook's love for guitars and woodworking. In 2019, Doug made the formal decision to merge these two passions and establish Charlie Mike Guitars. He dedicated himself to retooling his wood shop specifically for guitar manufacturing, using traditional tools employed by vintage builders. Each guitar is meticulously crafted by hand, eschewing computerized production. Doug's ultimate aim was to offer high-quality instruments at an affordable price point.
The name Charlie Mike is derived from the Army Ranger Creed, embodying the resolve to "COMPLETE THE MISSION" regardless of the circumstances. Charlie Mike, abbreviated as CM, encapsulates this ethos, representing the unwavering commitment to seeing a mission through to the end, even if one is the sole survivor.

Where the magic happens!
We are committed to crafting all of our instruments by hand, following the traditional methods of vintage electric guitar building. There are no computerized gadgets involved in the process – everything is meticulously handcrafted.
Based in Toledo, OH, our humble workshop is where we will collaborate with you to design and create your custom signature guitar.
Equipped with all the necessary tools, our fully functional shop ensures that your guitar will be transformed from raw wood into a stunning work of art.
